The following table lists Retailers with which Waipa Networks has agreements for use of the Network to supply Retail electricity customers.   Where the agreement version is listed as “Pre-Model” this means a version of the Waipa Networks standard agreement prior to the introduction of versions based on the Electricity Authority’s Model Agreement.   Any marked “DDA” indicates the Retailer is signed to agreement based on the Default Distribution Agreement (see below).  The table will be updated as new agreements are signed.

Current Default Distribution Agreement (DDA)

Waipa Networks published a Default Distribution Agreement in February 2021 accordance with the requirements of the Code.  The initial consultation period was short, and so at the request of Retailers we extended the consultation period and subsequently made changes to the DDA following feedback.  The Default Distribution Agreement (March 2021) below is the current Waipa Networks DDA for use by both Retailers new to our Network and those with existing pre-DDA agreements who wish to shift to the DDA.  Given the nature of our operations and ownership structure we expect all appendences A & B below to be signed by parties at the same time the DDA is signed, with Appendix C signed as required at a later stage.
