Winter Warmer Packs nominations are now open

As we head into the colder months, we’re inviting nominations for the 2026 Winter Warmer Packs, helping bring warmth and comfort to those who need it most. Last year, our packs helped warm the bellies of more than 600 people across our community. 

General manager of customer and community, Anna Watson, says the packs can make a real difference. “You can nominate yourself, a family, friend or neighbour. One nomination can go a long way to brighten someone’s day”  

This year’s packs include slow cookers, a grocery voucher, goodies for the puku, and several family-friendly slow cooker recipes.

Nominations can be submitted through the nomination form and will close on Friday, 15 May. 

Nominees must live in the Waipā Networks coverage area to receive a pack. The success and reach of this initiative is made possible by the generous support of our local community sponsor, Freshchoice Leamington.
