Waipā Networks provides Christmas cheer in Te Awamutu and Cambridge

Waipā Networks got their Christmas cheer on at the 2023 Cambridge and Te Awamutu Christmas parades on 6 December.

To kickstart the festive season, Waipā Networks entered two floats in the Te Awamutu parade of 23 floats. They finished runner-up in the Best Commercial Business Float category behind Aon Insurance Brokers, who took the top spot. Te Awamutu Volunteer Fire Brigade took out the Overall Winner.

In Cambridge, the parade featured 45 groups, 500 participants and 45 vehicles. Although the rain poured, Christmas cheer at the parade was not dampened. The Cambridge Toy Library clinched first place, winning the Overall Best Float title.

Waipā Networks not only entered floats to share the community’s Christmas cheer but also sponsored the Business category, which was awarded to the well-deserved winners of BW Teaz.

Supporting the Waipā community means a lot to Waipā Networks, so they try to get involved where they can, even over Christmas.
