Running support of Pirongia trailers

Waipā Networks is geared up to cheer from the sidelines at the upcoming Pirongia Trail Run (PTR) as key event sponsors on Saturday, 18 November.

The Waikato community trail running event caters to all abilities and ages. Four different grades are offered, from the relaxed movers to the mountain crushers.

The motto for the event is “It’s all about just getting out there and being active in the outdoors!” PTR’s not-for-profit charity, the Kiwi Challenge Foundation, supports this motto, whose vision is to see more young people enjoying the benefits of nature and living actively in the natural world.

The Kiwi Challenge Foundation is an initiative designed to promote active and healthy living outdoors by supporting initiatives that positively impact New Zealand.

PTR’s efforts are also endorsed by their community partners, such as Waipā Networks, who want to see the goals of PTR and the Kiwi Challenge Foundation realised.
