CIW Application Fee
We’ve introduced an application fee to replace the fee customers pay when alterations and upgrades to our wider network are required to complete their connection. This is known as Customer Initiated Work (CIW).
While the process for customers remains the same, the application fee makes sure our team has the necessary resources to complete any requested job.
What do you need to know?
The fee is still $1000 including GST, but it now applies to all services you might need from us (not just design services), such as confirmation letters, quotes, and clearance letters for your project or connection. You’ll only pay this once per project.
Although the application fee is non-refundable, if a capital contribution is required, we’ll remove this from the total amount you’ll need to pay us.
Terms and Conditions:
- All customer-initiated requests will be subject to the application fee.
- The fee is non-refundable; however, if a capital contribution is required, the fee will be applied to it.
- The fee covers all necessary documents required for the request.
- The fee will be charged per request and will remain valid for 3 months from when the quote was issued.
- If a quote is issued but not accepted, the fee may be re-charged if a request for a re-quote is made after the 3-month validity period has expired.
- The fee will need to be paid before we start working on your request.
