Below are the terms and conditions relating to each of our current Waipā Networks customer surveys.  Please click on the relevant section that relates to your recent interaction with our team/the survey you have been sent to complete, to review the associated promotion/reward terms.

2025 Waipā Networks Annual Survey Prize Draw

1. Promoter

Waipā Networks Limited, 240 Harrison Drive, Te Awamutu 3800, New Zealand (“we” and “our”).

2. Promotion overview

  1. A free prize draw for a chance to win one of Four (4) Prezzy Virtual Cards, each valued at NZD $250 each will run from Monday 10 November – Sunday 23 November 2025.
  2. No additional purchase is required to enter. Standard internet or mobile data charges from your provider may apply.

3. Eligibility

  1. Entry is open to all active Waipā Networks customers who, in Waipā Network’s sole discretion, have completed the 2025 Waipā Networks Annual Survey in full, within the promotion period.
  2. Completing the survey provides one entry into the prize draw. It does not guarantee a prize. Each eligible participant can win only one prize. Multiple rewards will not be issued.
  3. Exclusions: Employees, directors, Trust members, and contractors of Waipā Networks, and the immediate household members living at the same Installation Control Point (ICP) are not eligible. Reasonable efforts will be made to identify and exclude such entries.
  4. Territory: New Zealand residents only.
  5. We may request proof of eligibility, including customer status, age and ICP/address.

4. How to enter

  1. Complete the 2025 Waipā Networks Annual Survey in full, during the promotional period using one of the following methods:
    1. online: via the survey link provided in a direct email to you
    2. phone: if contacted by Key Research (Waipā Networks’ research partner for this survey) you may complete the survey over the phone with a Key Research member of staff.
  2. At the end of the survey, provide your name and contact details to enter the draw.
  3. Entry limits: One entry per eligible customer. Duplicate or automated entries are invalid.
  4. Entries must be received by 11:59 pm New Zealand time on Sunday 23 November 2025.
  5. Each emailed survey invitation will identify Waipā Networks and include a simple opt‑out method for future invitations.

5. Promotion Period timing

The promotion commences at 12.00am on Monday 10 November and ends at 11:59pm on Sunday 23 November 2025.

6. Prizes

  1. There are Four (4) Prezzy Virtual Cards valued at NZD $250 each to be awarded by random draw.
  2. These prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  3. Third‑party terms from the Prezzy Card issuer apply to the use of each prize, including expiry, fees and permitted uses. Waipā Networks is not responsible for those terms or for lost, stolen or misused cards after delivery.
  4. If the advertised prize becomes unavailable, we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

7. Winner selection and notification

  1. Within five (5) working days following the Promotion end date, four (4) winners will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received.
  2. We will attempt to contact each winner by email or phone using the details provided with each winning entry.
  3. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, or is found to be ineligible within five (5) working days of our first contact attempt, we will redraw from the remaining eligible entries for that Promotion Period.
  4. The prize will be delivered by email to each confirmed winner. Our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. Use of survey responses and publicity 

  1. Survey responses may be used by Waipā Networks in aggregated and anonymised form for customer service and performance improvement.
  2. We will not publish personally identifying quotes without your separate consent.
  3. For winner announcements we may publish the winner’s first name and general location (e.g., town or city).

9. Privacy

  1. We collect personal information to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, contact the winner and deliver the prize, make public announcements, respond to queries about the promotion, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, if required. Entry details are stored separately from survey responses.
  2. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and Waipā Networks’ Privacy Policy [https://waipanetworks.co.nz/privacy-policy/].
  3. You have the right to access and request correction of your personal information. Contact: communications@waipanetworks.co.nz
  4. We may securely retain entry records for a reasonable period required for audit, legal and administrative purposes, after which records will be securely deleted or anonymised.

10. Invalid entries and technical issues

  1. We are not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entries, including due to technical issues, network congestion, device incompatibility or service outages. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
  2. We may disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms, is fraudulent, or interferes with the proper conduct of the promotion.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) arising in connection with the promotion or the prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other non‑excludable laws. Nothing in these Terms limits rights under the Fair Trading Act 1986.

12. Changes, suspension and cancellation

We may amend, suspend or cancel the promotion (including these Terms) at any time on reasonable notice if required for operational, security or legal reasons. Any changes apply prospectively and will be communicated via our website or the survey page. If the promotion is cancelled, prizes for completed Promotion Periods up to the cancellation date will still be awarded.

13. Acceptance of terms

By submitting an entry, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by New Zealand law and subject to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Customer Projects - Satisfaction Survey

1. Promoter

Waipā Networks Limited, 240 Harrison Drive, Te Awamutu 3800, New Zealand (“we” and “our”).

2. Eligibility

  1. Participation is open to Waipā Network customers and contractors aged 18+ who have recently completed a customer project involving Waipā Networks and received a direct email invitation to complete this survey.
  2. Only one completed survey response per eligible project will qualify for a reward.

3. Survey completion requirement

To be eligible for the reward, the survey must be completed in full, including selecting a preferred reward option at the end of the survey.

4. Reward options

On survey completion, eligible participants may choose one of the following:

  • A $20 Woolworths eGift Card
  • A $20 Mitre 10 eGift Card
  • A $20 Noel Leeming eGift Card
  • A $20 donation made on their behalf to either Ko Wai Au or Cambridge Community House

5. eGift Card fulfilment

  1. eGift Cards will be purchased by Waipā Networks from GiftPay [https://www.giftpay.co.nz/] and emailed to the address provided in the survey.
  2. Please allow up to 5 working days after survey completion for eGift Card delivery.
  3. eGift Cards are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective retailers and Gift Station.
  4. Waipā Networks accepts no responsibility for card expiry dates, lost or deleted emails, or issues arising from card use.

6. Donation fulfilment

  1. If you select the donation option, Waipā Networks will make a $20 payment on your behalf to your chosen organisation (Ko Wai Au or Cambridge Community House) through its finance team.
  2. No tax receipt will be issued to the participant, as the donation is made by Waipā Networks.

7. General conditions

  1. Rewards are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
  2. Waipā Networks reserves the right to withdraw, vary, or substitute the reward if necessary.
  3. By completing the survey, participants consent to Waipā Networks using their responses for service improvement purposes.
  4. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and Waipā Networks’ Privacy Policy [https://waipanetworks.co.nz/privacy-policy/].
